FM to inaugurate 4th Kautilya Conclave on Oct 3

NEW DELHI, Sep 27: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will inaugurate the 4th Kautilya Economic Conclave (KEC 2025) on October 3, with the theme ‘Seeking Prosperity in Turbulent Times’.
The conclave runs until October 5 and aims to blend India’s domestic issues with global perspectives to foster pathways to prosperity amid turbulence.
It has an enhanced international presence with 75 participants from over 30 countries, focusing on contemporary challenges. Key sessions will feature Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia discussing ‘Communications: Emerging Technologies’ and a high-level plenary chaired by PK Mishra evaluating global economic health.
Notable discussions will include central banking challenges with Jean-Claude Trichet and the importance of legal reforms in growth, involving figures like Larry Kramer and Harish Salve.
Other panels will cover topics such as universal healthcare, youth employment, and technological risks.
The KEC, organized by the Institute of Economic Growth in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, has evolved through various themes over the past three years, addressing current global issues and engaging international leaders in meaningful discussions. (PTI)
