SHILLONG, Oct 3: American DJ and music producer, Diplo, will headline Day 2 of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Shillong, bringing his electrifying beats to the stage as the EDM headliner.
A three-time Grammy Award winner and among the top 10 most-streamed DJs of all time, Diplo is expected to set the stage ablaze with his signature energy and chart-topping tracks.
Day 1 of the festival already promises a star-studded line-up with international acts Jason Derulo and The Script, along with special guest performer Norah Fatehi. Organisers said the live headliner for Day 2 will be announced soon.
According to the organisers, the festival this year will be held on November 14 and 15 at the JN Stadium and Polo Grounds in Shillong, with tickets for Day 2 already available online at RockskiTickets.com.
“The Cherry Blossom Festival’s meteoric rise to fame was evident last year when it surpassed major Indian festivals and concerts, including Sunburn and Martin Garrix’s India tour, by bagging 4 Gold Awards at Wow Asia, including Festival of the Year and Entertainment Event of the Year,” the organisers said.
