3 held with drugs in city locality

SHILLONG, Oct 4: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) on Friday apprehended three suspected drug traffickers from Lamavilla.
The individuals, identified as Mompha, Jerry Syiem and Ricky Kharsyntiew, were arrested from Block 4 of the locality. During the operation, authorities also recovered 10.05 grams of drugs from their possession.
Following the seizure, the ANTF handed the three accused over to Lumdiengjri Police Station.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against them under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Officials have informed that the investigation into the case is currently in progress.
