Polling stations
The District Election Officer of West Garo Hills, in a statement, has announced the list of polling stations in Raksamgre, Tikrikilla, Phulbari, Rajabala, Selsella, Dadenggre, North Tura, South Tura, Rangsakona and Dalu legislative assembly constituencies respectively, has been published. It is available for public view and inspection in the offices of the District Election Office, Tura, SDO (C), Dadenggre, Dalu, Jengjal and Raksamgre including all BDO offices within West Garo Hills.
Clarification
The family of one Sangam Lama, who was earlier reported missing, has clarified that his whereabouts are known to them as well as the local authorities. In a statement, they claimed that a missing notice, a copy of which was received by The Shillong Times, was “maliciously circulated to create confusion and mental harassment”.
