SHILLONG, Oct 16: East Khasi Hills District Magistrate, Rosetta M. Kurbah, has allowed shops at Mahadev Khola Dham to reopen with immediate effect until further orders.
In an order issued on Wednesday, Kurbah said the decision follows an earlier office order dated September 5 and a petition submitted on October 13 by the general secretary of the Mahadev Khola Welfare & Trust, Homnath Gautam.
The order stated that the permission will remain valid until further directions are issued by the government.
