SHILLONG, Oct 22: A 49-year-old man identified as Ajay Pradhan, a resident of Mawbah, was found dead inside a room at Pashupati Guest House in Mawbah.
According to police, the deceased was found hanging in his room on Wednesday.
“During inquiry, it was learnt that the deceased had been residing at the guest house for the last two weeks,” police said.
Family members told police that Pradhan was a habitual drinker. Police said they have initiated all necessary formalities including an inquest.
