BBS College fest ends with grand celebration

SHILLONG, Oct 29: Curtain came down on the month-long college fest of Buddha Bhanu Saraswati (BBS) College with a grand finale held at the State Central Library on Monday.
According to a statement here, the evening marked the culmination of weeks of spirited competitions and creative showcases in sports, literature and culture, as the auditorium transformed into a vibrant hub of youthful energy and anticipation.
The event was presided over by president of the BBS College Governing Body DB Gurung, who, in his address, lauded the college leadership for their relentless pursuit of educational excellence.
He urged students to harness their talents, focus on their ambition , and pursue academic excellence with discipline and determination.
On the other hand, college principal Sanjay Rana expressed pride in the potential and creativity displayed by the students throughout the fest.
The highlight of the evening was a dazzling fashion show featuring designs by special guest Politeson Challam, one of Meghalaya’s leading fashion talents.
The programme also included a felicitation ceremony, where outstanding students were awarded medals and certificates for their exemplary performances in various competitions.
