SHILLONG, Oct 31: The SD Burman Memorial Byatikram Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 will be conferred upon eminent musician Rudy Wallang during the second edition of ‘Remembering the Maestro–SD Burman’ here.
According to a statement here, the Byatikram Group will host the musical evening of melody and reminiscence on November 9 at the U Soso Tham Auditorium.
The event, which will be attended by Governor CH Vijayashankar, noted musician Lou Majaw and other distinguished guests, aims to celebrate the timeless legacy of the legendary composer SD Burman and his enduring influence on Indian music.
During the event, SD Burman, who lived for 69 years, will be honoured through a symbolic tribute featuring a 69-member chorus performance by the Bahaar Group.
