SHILLONG, Oct 31: Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM), Mahbubul Hoque, has been recognised as one of India’s 25 Most Inspiring Education Leaders by The Academic Insights Magazine, a leading Indian monthly publication.
The accolade celebrates the transformative impact Hoque has made in reshaping the educational landscape of Northeast India while empowering youths across the region and the country.
Expressing his gratitude, Hoque said, “I deeply appreciate The Academic Insight’s honourable certificate. I am a great admirer of this monthly powerhouse. My motto to keep going forward positively in a very competitive world is to keep trying, don’t look back; if you pick up ten things and only four work, move forward with it, and things will materialise.”
It is pertinent to note that over the past 23 years, Hoque has established 14 institutions under the umbrella of the Education Research and Development Foundation (ERDF), beginning modestly with just four students. Today, his educational network spans from kindergarten to PhD level, serving over 10,000 students.
