Union MoS lauds NGH’s performance in implementation of schemes

SHILLONG, Nov 8: Union Minister of State (MoS) for AYUSH Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav on Saturday expressed satisfaction with the performance of North Garo Hills district in implementing various Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) during his official visit to the region.
The MoS, who also holds charge as Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, conducted an extensive review of flagship programmes and development initiatives under different departments.
His visit included an inspection of the Resubelpara Community Health Centre, including the Ayurveda & Homeopathy (AYUSH) OPD, MGNREGA worksites, and interactions with Village Health Councils and PMAY (G) beneficiaries.
Emphasising the importance of grassroots participation, Jadhav held detailed discussions with members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) to understand their entrepreneurial progress, challenges and the role of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) in empowering women and promoting financial independence.
