SHILLONG, Nov 14: The state government has made a partial modification to the grant-in-aid scheme for off-street parking infrastructure in the Greater Shillong Planning Area.
As per the original clause, the parking facility was to be constructed on land owned by the applicant and operated for a minimum of 10 years.
The amended clause now states that the parking facility shall be constructed on land owned by the applicant and operated for a minimum of 5 years, with a mandatory lock-in period of 3 years.
This amendment will come into force with immediate effect and will be deemed to have been incorporated into the Grant-in-aid Scheme for Off-Street Parking Infrastructure in the Greater Shillong Planning Area.
