The Simpsons writer Dan McGrath passes away at 61

Emmy-winning comedy writer Dan McGrath, known for The Simpsons and Mission Hill, has died at 61 following a stroke on November 14 in Brooklyn, confirmed by his sister.
Born in 1964, McGrath studied at Harvard, serving as vice president of The Harvard Lampoon, and wrote for Saturday Night Live, earning a 1992 Emmy nomination.
He won an Emmy for the 1997 Simpsons episode Homer’s Phobia and contributed to episodes like Boy-Scoutz ‘n the Hood and Time and Punishment.
His other credits include King of the Hill, The PJs, and Muppets Tonight.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline, mother, and siblings. (ANI)
