SHILLONG, Nov 20: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar, who took oath for the 10th time as Bihar Chief Minister, marking a show of solidarity consistent with his party’s alliance profile at the national and state levels.
The National People’s Party (NPP), which Sangma heads, is an ally of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre and also partners with the BJP in the MDA 2.0 Government in Meghalaya.
After the ceremony, Sangma took to X to extend his greetings to the veteran Bihar leader. He wrote: “Glad to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Shri @NitishKumar ji as Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar in Patna.
