Non-tribals claim GHADC land at Pedaldoba

TURA, Nov 20: The ADIL, Phulbari Western Zone has alleged illegal encroachment by non-tribals into lands belonging to the Forest department of the GHADC at Pedaldoba. Rongsai Market in West Garo Hills.
The group has also submitted a complaint in this regard to GHADC Deputy CEM, Nikman Marak. According to the organization, non-tribals who do not possess any valid documents have already claimed the land and even constructed houses inside it.
The group has sought immediate action from the GHADC authorities on the matter.
