House of the Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms set for new seasons
In a treat for Game of Thrones fans, the makers are ready to keep the franchise running with the upcoming seasons of House of the Dragon, along with A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has finalised new seasons for the GOT prequels ahead of their 2026 premieres. While House of the Dragon is set to receive a fourth season, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will also return for a second season. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will be aired on January 18, 2026, and its sequel will follow in 2027. On the other hand, the third season of House of the Dragon is slated for summer next year, while season 4 is set for 2028. (ANI)
Siddhant-Mrunal’s Do Deewane Seher Mein to release in Feb 2026
An upcoming romantic drama featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles – Do Deewane Seher Mein – will hit cinema halls across the country on February 20, 2026, the makers announced on Friday. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the project comes from Zee Studios and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production banner Bhansali Productions. Do Deewane Seher Mein will chronicle the “imperfectly perfect” love story of Chaturvedi’s Shashank and Thakur’s Rohini. Zee Studios shared the announcement through a teaser posted on its official Instagram page. (PTI)
‘Telangana-North East Connect’ Film Festival inaugurated in Hyderabad
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Friday inaugurated a two-day ‘Telangana – North East Connect’ Film Festival, aimed at promoting mutual understanding, knowledge and collaboration. The event is part of ‘Telangana – North East Connect Techno-Cultural Festival’ being organised here at the initiative of the Raj Bhavan to strengthen ties between Telangana and the North Eastern states. Varma expressed hope that the film festival would serve as a platform for sharing knowledge and open future doors of collaboration and cooperation. Noting that the Telugu film industry is one of the glorious film industries in the country, he said the North East can collaborate with it. He urged the Telangana people to watch films from the North Eastern states and the delegates from North East to watch Telugu movies. It would lead to sharing knowledge and expertise, he said. (PTI)
