Bollywood legend Dharmendra, fondly known as the industry’s ‘He-Man’, passed away on November 24, 2025, leaving a void in Hindi cinema. To honour his life and legacy, the Deol family organised a prayer meet, titled ‘Celebration of Life’, today at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. In an emotional moment, the entire Deol family, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Karan Deol, expressed their gratitude to the attendees with folded hands for the outpouring of support. A heartfelt musical tribute was also performed, honouring the late actor’s enduring legacy. Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Saira Banu, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Rajkumar Santoshi, Anil Sharma, Siddharth Roy Kapur and several others also paid their last respects. Taiwan’s official entry for the 98th Academy Awards, Left-Handed Girl, drew an enthusiastic response at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025, where the film was screened to a packed house ahead of its global streaming release on Netflix on November 28. Directed, written and produced by Shih-Ching Tsou, with Sean Baker as co-writer, producer and editor, the film features standout performances by Janel Tsai, Shih-Yuan Ma, Nina Ye, Brando Huang, Akio Chen and Xin-Yan Chao. The film is set against the bustling backdrop of Taipei’s night markets and portrays a multi-generational story spanning three generations of women. Actors Vijay Sethupathi and Sasikumar on Thursday released the trailer of director A R Jeeva’s gripping drama, Lockdown, featuring actress Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. Best wishes to the team.’ Actor and director Sasikumar, for his part, wrote, ‘Happy to unveil the Trailer of #Lockdown. Dive into a world of fear, truth, and survival. Wishing the whole team grand success.’ The woman-centric film, the trailer discloses, is based on a true story. The trailer that has just been released begins with Anupama Parameswaran (who plays the character of Anitha in the film) expressing fear to go home.
