SHILLONG, Dec 4: The Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) Meghalaya on Thursday seized 25.45 grams of heroin during a raid conducted at a residence in Lum Survey.
Acting on credible inputs about the presence of drugs in the area, ANTF personnel immediately launched an operation and apprehended one individual suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.
Following preliminary questioning, the suspect led the police team to his residence.
During the subsequent search, the ANTF recovered 40 small containers used for storing drugs, along with two soap boxes believed to be used for concealment and distribution.
The ANTF is continuing its investigation to identify and arrest others who may be linked to the case.
