Centre stands like rock with states in fight against drugs, human trafficking: HM Shah

Panchkula (Haryana), Dec 24: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the Narendra Modi government stands like a rock with the states in their fight against drug and human trafficking, cybercrime, and organised crime.
Shah said that a few years ago, there were three big challenges before the country concerning law and order – left-wing extremism, terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, and armed groups active in the northeast.
However, the Modi government established peace in all three of these regions, he claimed, adding, the responsibility for internal security remains just as important today.
Shah was addressing the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the Recruit Basic Course (RBC) Batch-93 of Haryana Police here.
Shah was the chief guest at the event and took the salute at the parade, an event in which Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana DGP O P Singh, A S Chawla, Director, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, Karnal, were present. (PTI)
