SHILLONG, Jan 15: Congress MP from Tura, Saleng A. Sangma has slammed Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma over his sudden and frequent connect with people.
Speaking to media persons, the MP admitted that the idea behind CM Connect was good but questioned if the CM was repeatedly trying to connect with people for the sake of content creation.
Accusing the Chief Minister of hardly connecting with the public in the last five years as he is doing now, Saleng wondered if the CM was doing all that to “safeguard illegalities”.
“Once he gets out of the chair, all the wrongs may be exposed and may be with this fear, he is going to the people,” the Tura MP stated.
He also wanted to know if the CM had addressed all the grievances of the public through CM Connect as there was no information on how many grievances were addressed.
