Dadenggre, Feb 4: The Sub-Divisional Officer (Election), Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division has informed that Notice of Draft Publication of Photo Electoral Rolls for GHADC 2026 for the 3 (three) Assembly segments namely 20- Raksamgre, 21- Naguapara and 22- Jengjal under Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division has been prepared in connection with the Electoral Rolls of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council 2026.
As per the order, the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the Assam Meghalaya Autonomous Districts ( Constitution of District Council Rules, 1951) and a copy thereof is available for inspection at the Sub-Divisional office and at each polling station during office hours, according to a Press release.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral roll is 01-01-2026 (See Rule 128 (4) (b).
Further, if with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the electoral roll or any objections to the inclusion of names or any objections to particulars in any entries, ir should be lodged between the period of 04-02-2026 to 18-02-2026 in form 6, 7 & 8 as may be appropriate.
Morwover, every such claim or objection should either be presented in the office of Retuning Officer or Sub-Divisional Officer not later than the aforesaid date or to the Booth Level Officer in the respective polling station or sent by post to the address given so as to reach not later than the aforesaid date.
