Seminar promotes use of ‘simple, easy’ Hindi

SHILLONG, Feb 10: A Hindi seminar on the “Utilization of simple and easy Hindi in day-to-day official works” was organised by the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Meghalaya, on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the session, Mohammad Ziaul Hoque, Assistant Director (Official Language), stressed the importance of regular seminars to promote Rajbhasha Hindi in administrative functions. He noted that such platforms are essential for discussing implementation strategies and improving official communication.
Reena Regmi, Assistant Professor at Buddha Bhanu Saraswati College, served as the faculty expert. She provided practical insights to officers and staff on adopting simplified Hindi in daily office correspondence.
The event, attended by 15 officers and employees, concluded with a summary of the session and a vote of thanks.
