Tura, Feb 12: A Field Day on Rapeseed was conducted on Thursday at Warima village under Chokpot, South Garo Hills, under the sponsored programmes CFLD (Oilseeds) and AICRP on Rapeseed -Mustard Scheme under NEH component.
The programme witnessed the participation of 20 farmers from the locality. As part of the initiative to enhance crop productivity and promote integrated farming practices, bee boxes were distributed to the participating farmers to improve pollination and boost rapeseed yield.
The programme concluded with an interactive session between scientists and farmers, fostering knowledge exchange and motivating farmers to expand rapeseed cultivation using scientific and sustainable approaches.
