Union min takes stock of services at Mawpat UPHC

SHILLONG, March 2: Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar inspected the Mawpat Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) on Monday to review the delivery of primary healthcare services.
Accompanied by Additional District Medical Health Officer Dr JK Sangma and other senior health officials, the Minister conducted a walkthrough of the facility to assess its operations. During the visit, Kumar interacted with healthcare staff and reviewed service delivery mechanisms.
The Union minister noted the facility’s cleanliness and efficiency, commending the medical team under the leadership of Medical Officer In-Charge Dr J Marwein for their professionalism.
