Shillong, March 9: Laitkynsew Mission Club and Sohra Combine secured wins on Day 15 of the 5th District League T20 Cricket Tournament organised by the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association.
Laitkynsew Mission Club defeated Sohra Police Combine by 48 runs, scoring 143/9 in 20 overs with Mebanrikupar Malngiang making 57. Sohra Police Combine were bowled out for 95 in 17 overs, with Pynskhem Phawa taking 5/11 and earning the Player of the Match award.
In another match, Sohra Combine beat Nayabasti Youth Club by nine wickets.Nayabasti were dismissed for 49 in 15.1 overs, while Sohra Combine chased the target with ease, reaching 52/1 in 4.2 overs, Darius Rani was named Player of the Match.
