An unexploded artillery shell recovered from a construction site in Qualapatty area of the city on Tuesday evening. East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem said Lumdiengjri Police Station received information following which they cordoned off the area and deployed a bomb squad which took away the shell for proper disposal.
