Zack Snyder praised Huma Qureshi, calling her “one of the most amazing actors” he has worked with and applauding her “pure brilliance on screen.” The filmmaker recalled collaborating with her on the 2021 Netflix film Army of the Dead, where she played Geeta. The movie, co-starring Dave Bautista and Ella Purnell, follows a group of mercenaries attempting a risky heist in a zombie-infested quarantine zone. Snyder shared a poster featuring Qureshi on Instagram, prompting the actor to respond warmly. The film marked Qureshi’s Hollywood debut.
