SHILLONG, March 31: A short but vital road near the Anjalee junction will be inaugurated by Arts and Culture Minister Sanbor Shullai on Saturday.
The new PWD link road will act as an additional bypass in the already clogged Rhino Point to ease traffic congestion.
The road spanning just a few hundred metres starts near Rhino Point, runs behind the Meghalaya Human Rights Commission (MHRC) office, and skirts the congested Anjalee junction before reconnecting just ahead of the main intersection.
