Two coal-laden trucks seized in Upper Shillong

SHILLONG, April 13: Police from the Jhalupara outpost on Monday seized two coal-laden trucks at Hynniew Mer in Upper Shillong.
While the drivers claimed to possess valid transportation challans, police said the documents are currently being verified. Officials added that appropriate action will be taken once the legality of the consignment is confirmed and ownership is established.
