Office-bearers
The Meghalaya Architects Forum (MAF) held its 13th General Body Meeting at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, recently. The meeting used an online voting system to elect new office bearers, ensuring a transparent and efficient process The newly elected executive council comprises Freddie A Wallang (president), Ebenezer N Syiem (general secretary), lbynta B Tiewsoh (treasurer), Aiban S Mawkhroh (advisor), besides executive members Barijuban Kharwanlang, Mathew L Umdor, Laiahun Wanka Lyttan, Albert C Tham, Silchi N Marak, Elangmiki Shullai, Risaka Massar, and Pynskhem Susngi. The Forum thanked the outgoing committee and reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the architectural profession in Meghalaya. The event was supported by JK Cement and other partners.
