East Garo Hills DC issues advisory for travelers

TURA, May 1: In view of the on-going national highway construction works and prevailing rainy weather, East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, RP Marak has issued an advisory to all commuters to be cautious while travelling along the affected stretch, from Williamnagar tri-junction up-to Darugre on NH-127B.
According to the advisory, the stretch on the national highway may slippery due to incessant rain with possible water-logging, loose soil and poor visibility and advised the motorists to drive at moderate speed, maintain safe distance from other vehicles and  strictly follow traffic signage and diversions placed at work sites.
In case of any emergency, obstruction and safety concern, the Deputy Commissioner has asked the motorists and travelers to contact the Highway Engineers, Kamlesh Kumar Pandey at 9366994594, stationed at Norek and Pankaj Singh at 9140579861, stationed near Jamge.
