SHILLONG, May 17: The eight-day Aqua Adventure Regatta 2026, organised by the 12 Assam NCC Battalion, concluded at Umiam Lake on Saturday.
The camp, which began on May 9, brought together 100 NCC cadets from various institutes.
During the event, participants trained in sailing, boat pulling and watermanship, alongside team-building and leadership exercises designed to foster discipline and national integration.
The closing ceremony featured cultural performances and the distribution of prizes. Camp Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Atong Konyak K felicitated cadets who excelled in various competitions held during the week.
As part of the programme, the cadets also visited local landmarks, including Shillong Peak. The event was conducted under the aegis of NCC Group Jorhat and the NCC North Eastern Region Directorate, Shillong.
