Akshay to feature in alien action film Samuk
Actor Akshay Kumar is teaming up with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah for his next film, titled Samuk. Described as India’s biggest alien action spectacle, the film is co-produced by Aashin A Shah and is set to release in theatres in 2027. The film blends survival horror and alien thriller elements on an international scale, according to a press release. It will be directed by Kanishk Varma. Kumar said he is excited to try the new genre. The film also brings together a major international technical team from Hollywood franchise filmmaking. Acclaimed creature FX designer Alec Gillis has joined the project to design and create the film’s alien creature. The film’s action will be overseen by British stunt coordinator Luke Tumber. (PTI)
Marriage ‘is not in the cards’ for Pitt and Ines de Ramon
Brad Pitt has reportedly decided against marrying again following his highly publicised split from Angelina Jolie and the continuing estrangement from their children. According to a report obtained by Page Six, the 62-year-old actor has been dating jewellery designer Ines de Ramon since 2022. However, sources cited in the report have claimed that marriage ‘is not in the cards’ for the couple despite them being “very happy” together. ‘He has a great partner who he appreciates but there is no rush in that direction,’ a source told. The report has also claimed that Pitt does not see himself getting married again or having more children. Sources alleged that the actor has remained deeply affected by the fallout from his split with Jolie and the distance between him and their six children. Pitt and Jolie separated in 2016 and have settled their divorce in 2024. (ANI)

Pop icon Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for a date night courtside at the NBA conference finals. The engaged couple was photographed sitting in the front row at Rocket Arena in Cleveland as the Cavaliers took on the New York Knicks in game three of the NBA Eastern Conference finals. Swift and Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and have been candid about being an avid Cleveland sports fan, were seen chatting and smiling as they cheered for the Cavaliers, reports ‘People’ magazine. For their night out near Kelce’s hometown, Swift, 36, wore a black, silver-trimmed tank top with a black jacket that featured a blue design on the back, along with a pair of baggy blue jeans. (IANS)
