Pop star Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner have reportedly tied the knot in a private civil ceremony in London attended by only a handful of close family members and friends.
The intimate wedding took place at the Marylebone Registry Office, a venue popular among celebrities.
Around eight guests were present to celebrate the occasion and shower the newlyweds with confetti as they emerged from the ceremony before leaving in a London taxi.
Dua opted for a stylish, unconventional bridal look, wearing a white hat, gloves, overcoat and a loose-fitting pencil dress paired with matching shoes rather than a traditional wedding gown.
Turner chose an elegant all-black outfit featuring an oversized blazer, black shirt, tie and polished shoes.
The low-key London ceremony reportedly served as the legal formalisation of their marriage ahead of a much larger celebration planned in Sicily.
The couple is expected to host a lavish three-day wedding event in Italy, with several celebrity guests reportedly invited.
According to media reports, the Sicilian festivities will feature multiple events across rented luxury venues and draw a host of high-profile attendees.
Singers Charli XCX and Tove Lo are among the names said to be on the guest list.
Attention is now shifting to the upcoming Italian celebration, which is expected to mark the couple’s first major public wedding festivities following their intimate London ceremony. (Agencies)
