RGU pharmacy students shine at Pharma Anveshan 2026, to represent Assam at national level

GUWAHATI, June 4: Two M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy Branch) students of the Royal School of Pharmacy, The Assam Royal Global University (RGU), brought laurels to the university by securing the State-Level 2nd Winner position at Pharma Anveshan 2026, Northeast Zone, held at Assam Down Town University recently. The achiever students are Ananya Saha and Tado Puning.
With this, the RGU team has earned the honour of representing Assam at the National-Level Pharma Anveshan 2026, organized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and hosted by L.M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad.
The talented student team showcased innovative research prototypes that received high appreciation from the distinguished jury members, academicians, and participants from across the Northeast region. Their remarkable performance reflected the strong research culture and academic excellence nurtured at the Royal School of Pharmacy.
The team participated under the mentorship of Dr. Sudarshana Borah, Associate Professor, Royal School of Pharmacy, and Co-mentorship of Prof. Atanu Bhattacharjee, Professor, Royal School of Pharmacy, The Assam Royal Global University. Their constant guidance, academic support, and encouragement played a pivotal role in the students’ success at the prestigious competition.
Pharma Anveshan is a prestigious national initiative organized by the Pharmacy Council of India to commemorate National Pharmacy Education Day on 6th March, marking the birth anniversary of Prof. M. L. Schroff, the Father of Pharmacy Education in India.
