Hearing on plea against Sonam’s bail ends in HC

SHILLONG, June 8: The counsel for Sonam Raghuvanshi has concluded his arguments in the case pertaining to the writ petition filed by the state government challenging the bail granted to her by a lower court in connection with the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, in Sohra last year.
On Monday, the single-bench court of Justice Wanlura Diengdoh heard S. Thapa, Sonam’ counsel, who submitted a request to file written arguments later in the day after which the court listed the matter for Tuesday.
