Named after Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.
Jules Rimet Trophy (1946–1970)
Renamed after former FIFA president Jules Rimet in recognition of his role in creating the FIFA World Cup.
Awarded from 1946 until 1970
Permanently awarded to Brazil after its third World Cup triumph in 1970.
FIFA World Cup Trophy (1974–Present)
