MAWKYRWAT, June 19: KSU Ranikor Circle president Marconi Thongni was allegedly stabbed in the chest by two men at Photkroh village under Ranikor civil subdivision on Friday afternoon. He sustained only minor injuries.
The incident took place around 12:30 pm on a bridge in the village. Thongni named Biangsingson Syiemlieh and Spect Syiemlieh from Dondinar Panchering village in the FIR, accusing them of creating trouble and attacking him. The duo also injured another person, Kitborlang Lyngkhoi, he stated in the FIR.
Police have registered a case at Ranikor Police Station.
