Shillong, June 30: Registrations for the 5th Sohra International Half Marathon and Run for Fun will open online from July 1 and remain open until August 15, or until the entry limit of 11,000 participants is reached, organisers announced on Tuesday.
No entries will be accepted after the registration cap is met.
For participants from the Sohra region, offline registration will be available free of cost at Kong S. Shullai’s shop, located next to the petrol pump at Thanad, from July 10 to August 10.
All participants who complete the run will receive a finisher’s medal, a complimentary event T-shirt, refreshments and transportation. Cash prizes will also be awarded to winners in various categories.
Organisers have urged interested runners to complete their registrations within the stipulated period to avoid missing out on the event.
