Allu Arjun appears virtually before court in Sandhya Theatre stampede case

Actor Allu Arjun on Monday appeared virtually before the Nampally court in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, which pertains to the stampede during the Pushpa 2 premier show, his legal team said.
According to the actor’s legal team, the other two accused in the case were absent and will file an absence petition.
The case has been adjourned to July 29.
The stampede took place on December 4, 2024, during a special benefit show of Pushpa 2 at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre.
On June 22, the Nampally Criminal Court in Telangana’s Hyderabad adjourned the hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case to July 6.
Actor Allu Arjun is among those named as accused in the matter.
The hearing was postponed after some of the accused failed to appear before the Magistrate.
Actor Allu Arjun did not attend virtually, and his advocate filed an absent petition, said Sandhya Theatre’s legal team. (ANI)
