Hollywood actor George Clooney, known for his performances in projects such as Michael Clayton, Gravity, Ocean’s Eleven, Jay Kelly and ER, among others, will be honoured with the prestigious Golden Lion for career achievement at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the film industry. The event is set to take place between September 2 and September 12, according to the entertainment news outlet Variety. (PTI)

Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha to feature in untitled comedy film

Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are set to reunite on screen with an untitled Delhi-set situational comedy. The film is directed by Shashie Vermaa and is set to release in April 2027, according to a press release. It also features Kumud Mishra alongside the actors. The film will bring Fazal and Chadha together. The couple has previously starred alongside each other in the Fukrey films. The first film released in 2013, with other installments released in 2017 and 2023. Details about the plot of the project are kept under wraps.(PTI)

Arjun Rampal sends birthday wishes to Ranveer Singh

Actor Arjun Rampal shared a series of behind-the-scenes visuals alongside his Dhurandhar co-star Ranveer Singh as he wished him on his 41st birthday. The first part of Dhurandhar released in December 2025. The second film released in March. Both installments were directed by Aditya Dhar. Rampal, who essayed the role of Major Iqbal, shared the post on his Instagram handle on Monday. ‘Happy Happy birthday Sher e, to more fabulous memories, performances, successes, love, ice baths, laughs, celebrations.
