SHILLONG, July 7: Magik Cook, a food brand of Shree Mahabir Foods Ltd., has expanded its product portfolio in Meghalaya with the launch of Hakka Noodles, Pickles, and Jams. The new range was introduced during an event at Maha Laxmi Store in Laban, Shillong, on Tuesday.
Shree Mahabir Foods Ltd. Managing Director Sanjeev Kumar Bajoria and CEO Anahita Bajoria attended the launch alongside distributors and retailers. Speaking at the event, Sanjeev Kumar Bajoria described Meghalaya as a key market and expressed confidence that the new products would meet growing consumer demand for quality food.
“Our focus has always been on taste, trust, and quality. We aim to become a part of every family’s everyday meals, from quick snacks to traditional dining,” he said.
Anahita Bajoria stated that the brand focuses on authentic taste and superior ingredients. She noted that their air-dried noodles are made without palm oil, while the pickles are prepared using pure mustard oil and traditional recipes.
The company, which previously introduced Korean and Thukpa noodle varieties, plans to expand its range further by 2027 following extensive product development and quality testing.
Sanjeev Kumar Bajoria stated that the brand’s competitive edge lies in its stringent hygiene standards and freshness. “We have an in-house laboratory where every batch is tested daily. Since we have a strong regional distribution network, our products reach the market quickly, ensuring better freshness compared to brands transported from distant locations,” he added.
