SHILLONG: The Shillong Chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in cooperation with AA members from other North Eastern States will host the 1st North East Region AA Convention from February 26-28 at NEHU Permanent Campus, Umshing, Mawkynroh. The convention aims to bring together the region on a common platform to further spread the Alcoholics Anonymous recovery programme to those still suffering from the scourge of alcoholism.
A public information meet on alcoholism and Alcoholics Anonymous as a resource for help will be held on February 26 at 5.30 PM.
