IIM guest lecture
IIM Shillong will conduct a guest lecture on “Doing Business in North East” for its PGP participants at the Institute campus on February 24. Chairman FICCI North East Advisory Council, Ranjit Borthakur will address the students on the occasion. On the following day, IIM Shillong through its Centre for Development of North Eastern Region will conduct a one-day discussion on North East Tourism Connectivity commencing 9:00 am onwards for tourism departments and tourism promoters.
Office shifted
The office of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights was shifted from Nongshiliang to Lower Lachumiere in the building premises of the Women’s Commission on February 23.
Natl integration camp
The inaugural function of the State-level National Integration camp 2014-2015 will be held on February 24 at the Bharat Scouts and Guides campus, Shillong. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, FR Kharkongor, East Khasi Hills DC Sanjay Goyal and SP M Kharkrang will be present on the occasion.
