 NONGSTOIN: A one- day workshop cum Training of Trainers (TOT) on Measles Catch up Campaign for Medical Officers of West Khasi Hills District was inaugurated by ADM, West Khasi Hills Distric W. Nongsiej at the Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall Nongstoin on Friday.

The workshop was attended by about 30 medical officers of the district and the resource persons were Dr. Singh UNICEF consultant and Dr. N. Roy.The real campaign programme will commence from October 10 onwards covering the entire district wherein all children below ten years of age will be innoculated.Speaking to this scribe, Dr. Singh, UNICEF consultant informed that the message will be spread out throughout the district by the trainee medical officers through the school teachers and village authorities. No children below the age of ten years shall be left out under these programme, he added.
