SHILLONG: The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) has fixed the duration of the Budget session starting from March 9.
Meghalaya Governor will address the House on the opening day of the session which will conclude on March 25.
The full budget will be presented on March 18 and subsequently after debate it will be passed on March 25.
A total 13 working days were allotted for the Budget session out of which the private members will get only 4 days.
However, the BAC assured the Opposition members that the House will be extended beyond 2 pm when there are issues of importance listed by them.
