A helper of a truck bound for Nongstoin from Kynshi, sustained injuries after he fell off the moving vehicle at Nongkasen under Mawthadraishan Block in West Khasi Hills on March 16 at around 9 am. The injured Aibor Nongrang (19, M) was shifted to Tirot Singh Memorial Hospital, Mairang.
A driver of a TATA Sumo (MLO5F – 8737) and two occupants sustained injuries when the vehicle drove off to the side of the road and overturned while travelling towards Lad Rymbai from Sutnga. The incident happened at Shikilo under Khliehriat Block in East Jaintia Hills on March 13 at around 7:45 P.M. Johnson Dkhar (22, M), Rangstah Sungoh (25, M) and Augustar Dhar (23, M) were shifted to Khliehriat CHC.
In both the cases the 108 Emergency Service Ambulances helped in shifting the injured persons to the nearest health centre/ hospital.
