SHILLONG: North Garo Hills Additional District Magistrate L.Ch. Marak, who is heading a committee which is probing into the alleged fake encounter killings at Petchong Jongki village in the district, has invited the members of public, individuals, family members and relatives of the deceased persons, members of the NGOs and Police personnel having knowledge about the circumstances leading to the death of the suspected militants, for recording of statements and depositions under videography.
The inquiry officer will be available in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, North Garo Hills, from April 1-15 on all working days.
