SHILLONG: The Special Infiltration Squad of East Khasi Hills Police checked the credentials of as many as 386 migrant labourers during the infiltration and verification drive conducted at different construction sites in the city in March.
East Khasi Hills SP, M Kharkrang said that intimations have been sent to the respective district superintendents of the concerned districts of various states from where the labourers hailed to verify the address and documents provided by them.
“The drive by the Special Infiltration Squad will continue,” Kharkrang added.
