Minaj confirms engagement to Meek
Rapper Nicki Minaj is engaged to boyfriend Meek Mill. After teasing engagement news on social media, the 32-year-old rapper finally confirmed her engagement to the 27-year-old hip hop artist by posting a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram, reported a website. Giving no single clue on when and where her engagement took place, Minaj showed off a huge heart-shaped ring on that finger. According to Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewellery, the gem “looks like a 15-carat fancy yellow heart modified brilliant cut diamond mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pave diamonds” and “would retail for approximately USD 500,000…” Still according to Shara, the ring “looks like the natural fancy coloured diamond trend that is continuing full steam ahead.” Minaj ignited rampant engagement speculation with cryptic social media posts this week. On Tuesday, she posted an Instagram photo of herself and Mill in Miami. The image showed her wearing a giant ring on her engagement finger, which led people to assume she’s been engaged to Mill. The following day the engagement talks got more intensified after she tweeted three emojis, which were a diamond ring, a heart, and a diamond, and captioned it with “I’ll post it later.” And when a follower tweeted at Mill calling him “lucky,” he retweeted the comment, adding, “I am!” (PTI)
One Direction working on first album without Malik
British boyband One Direction has started a new era as a foursome with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, after the exit of Zayn Malik. The boy band has released its first group shot without Malik and have also started writing songs for their fifth studio album, Payne revealed on Twitter, reported a website. Payne also divulged that he and his bandmates are writing with singer-songwriter Jamie Scott. One Direction’s follow-up to the 2014 album titled Four is scheduled to be released “later this year,” according to the group’s bio. Malik’s abrupt exit from the group upset the band’s loyal fanbase, many of whom were concerned whether the group would go on without him. “All four of us are 100 per cent committed to staying in One Direction,” Tomlinson reassured fans during the group’s first official interview as a quartet earlier this month. “We’re gutted Zayn chose to leave. But now after a few performances as a four-piece, we feel confident and determined to carry on stronger than ever,” Payne added. (PTI)
‘I haven’t had plastic surgery’, says Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner is tired of people talking about the appearance of her lips and has denied going under the knife. The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star told Grazia magazine that she hated the attention to her lips. “I’m like, ‘Stop talking about my lips’. I haven’t had plastic surgery. I’ve never been under the knife. People flashback to pictures of me when I was 12 and say ‘Kylie’s so different’ but how can I look the same from 12 -18?,” she said. Kylie, 17, has insisted that she gets a bigger pout by simply over lining her lips with liner. (PTI)
