Imphal: Over 100 tanker trucks (TTs) left Imphal to take petroleum products from Assam on Saturday with CRPF escorts. Over 170 trucks stranded on the highway would also be escorted to Imphal to ease the petroleum products scarcity in Manipur as a result of which most oil depots have stopped supply of petroleum products, specially petrol. The scarcity was due to closure of oil depots in Assam and disturbance on the national highways. (UNI)
